Please do NOT waste my time contacting me to ask if you can have free use of my pics for your commercial project because at best I will say no unless you pay me. I'm not interested in 'exposure'. I've got exposure, you're here. People who do this and then don't even reply to my follow up are really starting to piss me off.

I'm a firm believer that, even starting with the assumption that my pics aren't worth paying for, giving them away for free undermines those who make a living from selling theirs. I'm not into doing that.

On the other hand if you just need a random pic to illustrate your blog or you're doing a school project that's generally ok but it would be nice to be told and don't forget the credit.

I consider councils, government agencies and large charities to be included in commercial use btw. Charities MAY get free usage, depends if I believe in what you are doing but you'll need to ask.

Oh and if you do use my pics outside the terms of the license get used to that crick in your neck from looking over your shoulder.
