I'm VEGAS MAMA MIMI. AKA Mimi Miyagi. Actress and Model using that stage name in numerous magazines and movies since 1991. I'm an immigrant from Davao City, Mindanao Philippines and am a naturalized US citizen.

At 12, I was recruited by John Robert Powers Modeling Agency. They gave me a full ride scholarship to Modeling and Etiquette school. At 13, Hollywood Film School recruited me with a full ride scholarship to learn dramatic arts. At 14 years old our family moved to Guam. At 15, I moved to the Philippines finished high school at my father's alma mater Mindanao Mission Academy. By 16, I enrolled at my dad's college alma mater Mountain View College, Bukidon to study Economics with Taxation and Agrarian Reform. Accounting, Principles of Banking, IT concepts. Also became obsessed with music production and DJ mixing commercial ads for our radio sponsors. While working at the college radio station hosting my own show called Inspirations, featuring classical and symphony music. All the while still traveling doing gymnastics shows since I was 6 years old. My specialty was rhythmic gymnastics using the ribbon. Very beautiful artistic performance art.

After a year Uggh, ok I admit yes. I was 1 of those stereotypical Asian student nerds usually sitting in the geek lunch table. Finished High School in a year and a half is why I started college so young to study Economics. It was so boring. Times were tough in Mindanao regarding safety and security. Don't like to talk about it much what I experienced being exposed to years of what a third world country suffers from. I decided to go back to America at 17.

Then entered the world of beauty pageants. At 18, I got certified in Master Makeup Artistry inside the Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood. Studied Fashion Merchandising in Los Angeles. Got sidetracked working as a model actress since 1991.

Needless to say beauty products are a key essential set of tools to doing my job and highly trained in all kinds of products in the beauty world. Modeling and Acting also taught me keeping up with fashion trends and personal style. It's important to always be in the know about the fast moving social media trends for PR (Public Relations) and Marketing yourself as it is a must to keep working in such competitive industries.

My daughter is also a makeup artist at only 18 and making money already.

I drink wine every day, and very selective on the tastes. I love to travel and check out hotel decor. Restaurants are a big thing for me, as I enjoy food and presentation. Also do enjoy cooking, plating (food presentation). LOVE to try out every new cafe/restaurant that opens to give it a chance. Music and Internet Technology, especially Free Speech rights is very important to me. I'm HAPPIEST creating artistic projects and Performance Artist acting skits in Vlogs (video blogging). Writing reviews about random things that interest me.
