I decided to change my life, make more use of the morning hours. I got up at six, took a shower, got dressed, put on makeup, smoked a few cigarettes, sat down at my desk and woke up at noon.

Although the Con doesn't own a tripod, her photography stands on strong feet. Nevertheless her photos can make you shake in reverence and/or laughter. She has also a great eye on other peoples work and comprehensive knowledge on photography and life itself. I hope to meet her someday at the Oktoberfest.

Connie, your photos are never quite what they seem. Always worth a second and third examination, you so often manage to invest them with a depth of meaning that amazes me. Your talent as a photographer comes across clearly in the photos you have shown us here; what is less obvious to the viewer is your extraordinary skill at PhotoShop. You use it deftly, as a true digital darkroom, to increase the impact and tension in your work, and to make your finished photos a delight. You are an excellent critic of photography, with an incisive eye and a turn of phrase that goes right to the point. One to watch.
