Drag to set position!
Hello,
I was born into a small Belgian family in 1991. I love aviation in general, but especially warbirds, general aviation, vintage & military aircraft. I'm a fan of Sony's Alpha series of DSLRs/interchangeable lens cameras and Lowepro (yes, I'm a *cough* a bit of a Lowepro addict ;-)...). I'm currently studying office management (actually commercial translating/interpreting studies) in Ghent, Belgium.
Feel free to add me as a contact on Facebook here, e-mail me, add me on msn, and to ask (nearly) any question you'd like me to answer :).
In the past, I've edited my pictures with the included Sony software which was easy to use, fast and effective but limited me somewhat as far as more sophisticated editing techniques are concerned. Since November 2009 I'm working on an Apple MacBook Pro 13". I bought Apple Aperture 2.1 a couple of weeks later. In early 2011 I upgraded to Aperture 3 which I absolutely love to use.
Current equipment/gear: a Sony Alpha A350 (14.2 MP), 18-70mm f/3.5-5.6 and and my favourite addition to yours truly's lens collection, which I bought July 3, 2009: the silver-shiny 70-400G SSM (SuperSonic Motor), which is probably the best 400mm zoom lens currently available (not taking a couple of extremely high-end/niche lenses into account). I'm currently using the Sony A77V, Sony's APS-C flagship model SLT.
I'm also looking to get some more NEX lenses (I currently have got a silver NEX-5 and 18-55 OSS).
I also have got a Lowepro Nova 140 AW for my NEX and accessories. I also use Lowepro's Street & Field modular carrying system (the latest version, which was announced in September 2010). I currently have the S&F Technical Vest, the S&F Deluxe Technical Belt, the S&F Utility Bag 100 AW, the Audio Utility Bag 100, the S&F Transport Duffle Backpack, the S&F Bottle Pouch, the S&F Memory Wallet and the S&F Phone Case. It's great to use during events and I can highly recommend it. Oh, and I've got a Toploader Pro 75 AW too! As far as backpacks go, I've recently started using the Pro Trekker 600 AW. I told you, I'm addicted to Lowepro bags ;-).
I'm an editor and photographer for Belgium's best aviation news website (www.Flightlevel.be) and the Belgian 'Wikipedia' of aircraft, www.Aeropedia.be, for which I 'work' (I love my work ;-)!) as photographer.
