As you've read here, Jeff inspired his daughter so much that she's made off with his new Canon! Photography must be genetic: Jeff's Grandmother - Alyce Gibson - kindled Jeff's interest when he was only ten. Jeff is one of the first people I met on Flickr—and he can take a large part of the blame for my Flickr-addiction! :) I was immediately drawn to his unique and talented way of capturing ordinary things in an extraordinary way. He is gifted at finding the essence of a moment or situation, and giving us all a chance to see what has always been there, but we’ve never noticed. Even more striking than his talent is Jeff’s kindness. It is evident in all of his photos, as well as his comments and correspondence. He is one of my favorite people, on or off Flickr! His love for his family, friends, and creatures shines through in his photographs, and you can’t help but share his happiness as you view them. He truly leaves a “gentle path” wherever he treads.
