One of the best photo streams on Flickr which reveals a skilled and talented photographer who is able to create astonishing compositions no matter what the subject is. I am impressed by the variety of his photo stream. I admire the most his Florence set and I think that he has an unique talent to reveal the ageless beauty of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. His photos are more like paintings which depict the magnificent Florentin art and architecture or the unbelievable Tuscan landscape. As I live in Florence, I am able to realize how he is able to play with light and color in order to recreate this unique place. I am glad that I have discovered your photos and I look forward to seeing more of them!

Giammario's use of warmth, focus and colour remind me of the texture of a Caravaggio. There is a intimacy and life to his treatment of a diverse range of subjects that attracts me in to the shots. Detail is never lost but it is somehow part of a subject, as in a painting, not the purpose in itself.
Giammario's colour work is truly stunning. I look forward to his next picture knowing it will be a work of art. I am a black and white photographer,but I wish I could create colour work like this. An inspiration to all. Mike

Sometimes - when browsing through thousands and thousands of photos here at flickr - some of the pictures makes you stop, and think... Vanvos' photostream is definitely one of those streams. Once somebody told me that if I felt something looking at a picture, was in the end the highest goal a photographer could reach. Looking at Vanvos photos - makes me feel something for each and every one... I'm impressed - and today - finding you, I immediately became a big fan... Thank you for sharing your work with us.

Vanvos is a dear friend since 1984 and at present more! He is a clever artisan: painting specially and every work where the hands are determinable. His images rise from his originality. His talent and his culture deserve praise.....
