A hobbyist. I will not give you some philosophical jibberish about how photos are unique stoppages in time that never happen again and that is why I like photographs. I enjoy photography simply because it is challenging, allows me to see different places and provides me with appreciation for my surroundings. If I can make an inanimate object come to life, or a landscape that I have seen memorable, I have done what I am out to do. Making things what they are, is an initial goal. Making things what they are, but making them look incredible, well that is my ultimate goal. I have had many failures, but in my mind I have had success as well. A lot of people think photography is easy, I'd like to say to those people, that your photos are likely a waste of a wal-mart photo center employee's time. Sounds pretentious maybe? But if you have struggled with photography, and had your failures, then you know what I am saying. Photography is tough, and takes years to learn. I am still learning today, and will continue to do so, as photography for me, is a hobby that I will not let go.
