vanstaffs photostream - the home of Tussi...and Sissi.

I am early retired due to chronic migraines and I love to take photos and to get out in our awesome nature.

Note; I am fully age retired from March 2016.

I need to move and I like to go on walks with my camera - when and if I feel OK.

I have, in the latest couple of years, found out that the nature is rather fantastic and gives me many photo opportunities, so I try to go out at least once per day in our amazing nature.

Flickr is a great way to share your photos with nice people all over the globe and to see other peoples work. I shoot all that I find interesting or beautiful - so it can be nature, bugs, birds, architecture, landscapes or people you'll find in my photostream - and our rescue cat Tussi of course ;) - she's after all my favorite subject; always full of mischief and very, very photogenic.

Here's my Tussi;

Ready for a walk...

We got ourselves a new, cute cat in August 2006; Tussi, and as I didn't take so many photos of our both previous beloved cats, I decided to take many, many of our new little precious cat - sometimes it is just a little too many of her, if I don't have the power to go out and take photos - I know ;)

Unfortunately, Tussi got cancer and was put to sleep April 27th, 2021 sadly enough.

We got us a new little kitty called Sissi on June 2nd, 2021.

Photographing and cameras has always meant a lot to me, and I do believe that a photo says more than a thousand words. Staffan is one of my earlier Flick contacts & one of the nicest & gentle persons here on Flickr. As he writes in his profile, photos tell a lot about someone. Staffan's photos show his gentle nature & his love of the outdoors, his family & of course, Tussi! Through his photos of his sweet cat, many people around the world feel that they've come to know her better too. One of his photos of her sweet face always brings a smile to mine. With Staffan's photos of the nearby seascape, parks, village & his own backyard, I can feel tension melt away when I drink them in. I consider it an honour that he counts me as his Flickr friend too.

Staffan is an amazing photographer. He captures extraordinary moments in time with ease. Staffan is an amazing photographer. He captures extraordinary moments in time with ease. I enjoy looking at his stream and I know my photography, and my knowledge of photography, has improved because I look at his photos so much. He has a wonderful kitty named Tussi who knowingly steals the show, but I don't think Staffan minds because it's obvious in his photos how much he cares for her. For example, Tussi has a garden of her very own that she lets her humans tend to. ;-) Now that's a smart pussycat!
