ARTISTS STATEMENT:

I started photographing windows merchandise, namely watches, jewelery, etc., in a college photo class study with Kandansky's theory of "Line, Point and Plane." This work led to the discovery of the mannequin and WINDOWS photography.

I think that this subject matter is a high level art form (by others). I try to take it to a higher level by creative selection and integration of surroundings (i.e. reflections) and capture this mood on film for the benefit of fine art and history. Its range is from the "Haughty to the Naughty."

As the windows displays change, this slice of time captured by the camera has been recorded for history. Most of my work has been done in the San Francisco Bay Area, but I spent one summer in New York City. Future sites will be London, Paris and Milan.

Please enjoy these photographs as much as I have done in making them.
