My photography journey began with an unexpected gift- a camera I never imagined wanting. What started as a simple way to preserve memories soon evolved into a creative passion and a new way of seeing the world around me.
After spending years in the fast-paced wealth management industry, I found myself drawn to a slower, more intentional pace. Photography became both a refuge and a practice in mindfulness, inviting me to slow down, pay attention, and appreciate the subtle details that often pass unnoticed. While I enjoy exploring a range of photographic styles, I’m especially drawn to film photography and the rewarding process of developing my own images.
Whether I’m wandering Newfoundland’s rugged coastline, travelling along quiet back roads, or documenting everyday life, I find inspiration in fleeting light, authentic emotion, and the imperfect details that give each moment its character. I’m particularly captivated by the ordinary when light transforms and textures come alive, revealing a quiet beauty that might otherwise go unseen.
Through my work, I strive to create images that feel both intimate and enduring, photographs that invite reflection, celebrate presence, and express my fascination with the subtleties of everyday life.

I came across her profile a few months ago and I have to admit that it was a nice journey to, as she says, "her small island". Loving mother, funny person and talented photographer. She can come up with a very interesting photo out of pretty much nothing (or something so ordinary that most people wouldn't even notice). I admire her spontaneous creativity and her dedication to improve her photographic skills. Oh and if you browse through her photos, you're going to find out that she LOVES weathered wood, fences, windows and doors! :-)
