I'm an artist and fine art illustrator currently getting my MFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts.

I enjoy drawing and painting a variety of subjects and use an array of mediums but over the past two years my work has all gone towards writing and illustrating.

Merging literature and visual art serve as the catalyst for creating my novel Pendulum. Each segment, or chapter, has its own unique expression. The fluctuations and variety of mediums include memories in oil, depression in charcoal, mania in bright color and rage in graphic blacks. The story journeys through irrational thoughts of self-inflicted pain and explores the different various abnormalities of the rampant stages of bi-polar. Hand-written text became a vital element, incorporating a multitude of materials to set the different tones. Each visual shift represents my fears, excruciating life trials, and personal conquests in this compendium of imagery.
