He crecido con una cámara reflex en la mano como juguete y me he acostumbrado a ver la vida a través de un objetivo. Decidí no centrarme en la parte técnica de la fotografía porque llega un momento que se pierde la magia de la improvisación y se olvidan las sensaciones frente a intentar dominar la técnica. Debe haber un equilibrio en la fotografía.

Me muevo por impulsos y con la cabeza en fotogramas arrancados al mundo. Salgo a fotografiar sin pensar en datos técnicos y me dejo llevar por el lugar y la ocasión.

Mis fotografías tratan de trasladar al ojo humano a un plano paralelo de cuento.

 

Mis fotografías se basan en la temática "espada y brujería". Uso la inspiración que recibo de las novelas, series de televisión, películas y cuentos y leyendas de temática fantástica e histórica, romántica y gótica.

 

Personajes como Peter Jackson, Guillermo del Toro, J.A. Bayona, Tim Burton, películas de fantasía de los ochenta, los noventa y los dosmil (Willow, El Cristal Oscuro, Dentro del Laberinto, Lady Halcón, ESDLA, El Hobbit, Robin Hood, etc) Tolkien, Terry Pratchett, Terry Goodking, George R.R. Martin, Bernard Cornwell, las hermanas Brontë, Jane Austen, Dickens, Doyle, Walter Scott, los hermanos Grimm, Perault, Le Fany, Stoker, Mary Shelley, Chrétien de Troyes, cantares medievales, historias y cuentos tradicionales, la historia y el arte medieval y antiguo... todo ello crea un mundo de inspiración que me llevan a crear mi forma de llevar a cabo la fotografía.

 

Trabajo con una Reflex analógica Praktica de 1982 y una reflex digital Pentax Km, un objetivo Pentax 18-55 mm f3.5-5.6 DA II, un objetivo Sigma 50-200mm f/4-5.6 ED y los típicos gadgets (filtros, anillos conversores, etc) Proceso con ACR y Photoshop C5.1

I grew up with a reflex camera in hand as a the technique. There must be a balance in the photograph. I use to go out to shoot without thinking of technical data and I love let myself get caught up with the place and occasiooy and I've come to see life through a lens. I decided not to focus my photography on the technical side (just de 60-70%) because there comes a time that you lose the magic of improvisation and in this case people forget the feelings against trying to control tecnique. I watch the world like a big cinematographyc frame .

My photography try to take the eye to another plane, a parallel universe full of tales.

 

My photographs are inspired by the theme "sword and sorcery". Use the inspiration I get from the novels, TV series, films, tales and legends, and novel with a historical fantasy, romantic and gothic vision.
