The Atelier Worldimages was created in 1996 by the Brazilian photographer Vanderlei Guedes in São Paulo and was designed to bring together photographers for the formation of a working group to drive the art of photography, to study the techniques and report and the teach about photography.

Over past few years, he felt in need of developing photographic projects to enable the Atelier Worldimages to discover a language that would identify itself and would both, solidify a name,a proposal and a field of action. This assumption has been the starting point for the idealization of an international agency, the Worldimages AG. based in Japan. A daring proposal aimed to membership professionals from various countries working in cooperation for developement of projects related to more various topics that cover photo of documentary reportage.
