Dario, I have to say, makes me jealous... I've known him since the time when (I hope it's fair to say) a camera was just a Gadget, but now, only a short time later, he's exhibited some really inspiring artworks in a seriously cool event in Northern Italy (perhaps the trigger for it all?), gone on to shoot some amazing reportage series for a web news service (in particular I loved the ballroom dancers, admired the skaters, envied the beauty pageant), and his talents at capturing some of the contrast and quintessence of the Veneto region have been recognised, even by those least likely to appreciate the critical gaze. Sometimes I spitefully wish he'd bought a new mobile phone instead of a camera. Dario is also a really good friend, and I went to his wedding... which reminds me...
