Hello. According to this profile page my name is minivan cooley - van cooley. That's really funny. (Yes, I have an odd sense of humor).

I am a designer & concept developer living and working in Portland.

Photography is my hobby with occasional moments of brilliance when something wonderful appears on the other end of the lens. I enjoy taking pictures because it forces me to slow down to observe the world around me, especially because I tend to get lost in my thoughts.

The nickname minivan was born in 1998 during a miniature golf game and has since made appearances at bowling alleys, blogs and on myspace.

Other bits about me -- I consume too much coffee for my own good, sunset is my favorite time of day and am handy with a mouse. I also like long, drawn out sentences that require many strategically placed commas, semi-colons, m- & n-dashes and parentheses.
