I feel like such a late comer to Gabriela's work, with years of beautiful images and words to catch up on. Even after that, I still find myself waiting for her next image which never fails to surprise and delight me. Often initially appearing to be off the cuff snaps from daily life, in reality they are all well crafted images formed to draw the viewer directly in to the captivating, beautiful and always elegant subject. Each time you revisit any of Gabriela's images a new level of admiration builds, and you can't help but study the image in total delight. It's time to write a testimonial when I find myself smitten by every creation an artist shares here on Flickr. Evocative, creative, classic, feminine, poetic, whimsical and powerful are some adjectives that spring to mind while attempting to describe the work of Gabriela. In both poem and image, she takes the observer on a journey through and beyond the five senses. It is always inspiring to witness the play of such a passionate and expressive soul, a rare breed in this time and place, and I am so happy to have waded my way through to this beauty-filled space.
