Hello!

My name is Matthew. I'm a plant biotechnologist graduated in 2017.

I have always been interested in nature. My favourite branches of biology are botany, ichthyology, herpetology and entomology, but botany is my love. The most interesting types of plants for me are carnivorous plants, parasitic plants, orchids, hygrophytes and epiphytes but I like them all. I have been growing carnivorous plants since 2009.

I like to document what I see. I want my photostream to be a source of scientific names of organisms I take pictures of. I like details and I think they are responsible for the overall beauty we can witness. That's why macro photography is the most interesting for me.
