UT Connewitz is not just another eclectic cultural location, that's partly sponsored by the local government, but one of the oldest still existing cinemas in Germany.

Built up in 1912 and closed from 1989 to 2001, this hall in the south of Leipzig was reopened and reaches new heights with a quite different program of concerts, movies, theatre and more, but still trying to keep its morbid and romantic atmosphere.
