Utah Images' Founder Douglas Pulsipher is a

full-time working photographer who also happens

to be an unabashed, unapologetic Utah native.

Educated at Art Center College of Design in

Pasadena, CA, he has operated a commercial

photo studio, managed a stock photo agency and

provided photo research, editing and consulting

services for calendar publishers.

Among his main artistic influences are 19th Century

American landscape painters, especially Thomas Moran

and George Inness, for their use of light and shadow

to create a sense of three dimensional depth and

distance in a two dimensional medium.

Due the large number of companies that have decided to illegally use our photos on their own websites without asking permission or paying for a license, we've begun watermarking the most popular image files to make it easier to identify the wrongdoers and to point out how easy and cost-effective it is to do the right thing.
