I'm just an average joe, 49 years old.. I was born in Florida but moved around quite a bit and landed in the country around Salt Lake City, Utah at about the age of 10; just in time for 5th grade.

Lived all around the 70 mile long valley between Ogden on the north end and Provo on the south, over a period of 35 years. Grew up on a small farm west of Ogden and love the slow, country life.

In 2005, over Memorial Day weekend, I moved myself, 2 dogs and 2 cockatiels to Houston, Texas with my trusty Chevy 4x4 and not much else. I drove nights and slept days to protect my pets from the heat. My cockatiels and my truck have since passed on; I secretly think my cockatiels stole my truck and went walkabout..

I love Texas. Not too happy with the congestion and bustle of Houston though.. would like to get back out into the country to a more "Mayberry" speed of life, but God has blessed me nonetheless.

Have met a girl that I'm now madly in love with and we're starting our life together. With God's help and guidance, I have a sneaking suspicion that we're gonna be just fine.

Joined Flickr to become involved in the "365 Days" project. I really like the merge of photo albums, discussion groups and myspace-like sociability.

Am discovering I'm a group junkie; which is different than a groupie! :).. I think I've joined over 100 so far.. Can't believe that Flikr has so many cool ones... on just about any topic.
