The Pacific Northwest Research Station is one of seven USDA Forest Service research units. We are a leader in the scientific study of natural resources and generate and communicate impartial knowledge to help people understand and make informed choices about natural resource management and sustainability. The station has 11 laboratories and centers located in Alaska, Washington, and Oregon and about 300 employees.
