usamabhatti.

It took me almost six months to write something about me. Apart from being lazy I always find it hard to describe myself. However here is a little introduction.

By profession I am a Telecom Engineer. Photography for me started as a hobby. However ever since I bought a digital SLR and joined flickr, it has become more of an addiction. The blame/credit for this addiction goes to all the wonderful people on flickr whom I have come to know in a very short span of time. I find inspiration through the photos by these amazing photographers. My tribute to all these wonderful people. Thank you for making flickr so exciting for me.

I photograph what pleases my eyes. Sometimes the results are good and sometimes they are not. My main areas of interest are people and Nature. However I do want to try out all the different genres of photography and experiment from time to time.

Equipment I own.

My eyes :)

Nikon D70s (my first digital camera)

Nikon 50mm f/1.8 AF

Nikon DX VR 18-200 mm F3.5-5.6G Zoom

Nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6G

P.S: I generally don't login over the weekends so don't mind if I am late in commenting your photos.

If you would like to get a print (framed, on canvas or just a print) of my work, then you can take a look here. Let me know if you cannot find an image in the gallery below

However... his "Fairy Land" photos are just incredible, brilliant and simply jawdropping and breathtaking. Above all the great photographic qualities Usama has, he is a great friend here on flickr... he is a gentleman, supportive, encouraging, friendly and just absolutely hysterical!!! Flickr is a fun place with Usama and I am really happy and honoured to have him as a friend here!!! Keep up the great work Usama, I look forward to many more of your images! xxx

Usama makes life itself feel larger than life... for example, his water reflections in the nature set are stunning subjects unto themselves; his portraits seem perfectly cast for an epic movie, and even his "miscellaneous" shots such as spinning clay and splashing water seem special. Stumbling on this charmed photostream was serendipity at its best. Yet larger than life somehow

Usama has a wonderful talent for portraits. His faces haunt you. They are instantly recognisable. Is it the photographer, the subject, or the relationship between them? I do not know. The result is outstanding.
