Hi, I’m Mat

A professional wedding photographer ( www.mattrokephotography.co.uk ) originally from Chesterfield, I craved some Monaco style glitz and glamour though and so we moved 8 miles up the road to Mansfield near Nottingham with my amazing wife Sam, our three lovely children Amelie 6, Arthur 7, Nelie-jo 14 and our daft dog Nigel.

I’ve recently crept into my 40’s but my introduction to photography came when I was just 10 with a chance birthday present from my dad of a Canon film camera which I still have to this day. It was his master plan to distract me from my childhood fixation of becoming a lorry driver and it worked, I was instantly hooked and barely a day’s gone by when I haven’t picked up a camera since.

This is my personal profile, when I'm not photographing amazing wedding I like getting out into our cities and town chasing stormy skies, cityscapes and sunsets.
