Urban Partnerships for Poverty Reduction (UPPR) aims lifting 3 million people out of urban poverty and connecting them to the cities in Bangladesh.

These photos have been taken by 30 women and girls in three slums of Bangladesh. By putting the camera in their hands, UPPR hopes people will get a new insight into the realities of life in a poor urban settlement through the perspective of women who live there.
