Thanks for visiting my photo stream here on Flickr. People have called me "Pump" ever since I was a kid, so typically that's what I go by. I'm a locomotive engineer for BNSF Railway out of Argentine Yard in Kansas City, Kansas. Previously I have worked as a locomotive engineer and conductor for the Kansas City Terminal Railway operator KCTL, Missouri & Northern Arkansas Railroad, and Union Pacific Railroad, hiring out there in 2008.

Originally from just outside a division point town on the former Missouri Pacific, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and growing up within sight of the UP Hoxie Sub., it wasn't hard to become a railfan at an early age. I never grew out of trains and it's turned into a rewarding career. I enjoy using the Flickr platform because it's easy to locate images from the library, and there are a lot of outstanding images posted here by accomplished photographers to keep you motivated to push yourself and your equipment to the next level of composition.

If you want to know specifically where something was taken, it's usually in the caption, or you can always comment and I'll try to elaborate further. Sometimes it takes me a few days to get the captions on the photos after they're uploaded.
