My Flickr stream serves two main purposes:

1 - It is a way of sharing my photos with anyone interested in viewing them;

2 - It is for users of digital cameras who have been bitten by the manual lens bug.

The second point is why photos have been organised by lens as well as by rough subject matter. It is also why lots of perhaps slightly boring images have been added - I hope that people searching for sample shots taken with a particular old manual lens will find my shots taken useful in deciding whether a lens is worth buying or not.

I would wholly recommend a mirrorless compact system camera to anyone, having moved from a semi-pro Canon 30D I have really enjoyed using cheap but high quality manual lenses on the superb Sony NEX 5N sensor, Sony A6000, Sony A7ii and now my Sony A7Rii.

I know no other way for most photographers on a budget to explore the creative potential of fast prime lenses or to get closer to nature with big telephoto lenses.
