I live in a wonderfully bohemian town called Brighton which is on the south coast of England. I have lived here for about 6 years, prior to that I lived in a town called Bournemouth, which is also in the south coast.

I studied Three-Dimensional Design in Leeds for almost 5 years before the cold got too much, and I fled back to the south!

Brighton is often called ‘London by the sea’, which is probably why I love it here so much – the cosmopolitan hustle and bustle of the town along with the (almost) fresh sea air – perfect!

I worked as a retail manager for almost 7 years before I recently decided to go it alone and start my own business – Sisily Love.

I am a one-woman business, and I carry a wide range of Handmade treasures.

Each item is designed by myself accordingly, and produced in small limited edition quantities.

My work crosses a variety of disciplines, including flocking, customisation, creative plastics, fashion, jewellery and accessory design, home furnishings, plus anything that compliments the mindset of Sisily Love.

I try to use a lot of unwanted and vintage materials which are sourced on many treasure hunts to thrift stores and flea markets across the South Coast on England, along with potentially 'waste' supplies that are cheap and in an alarming abundance.

The concept behind project 'Upcycle Me' is to take everyday items and refashion them as you have never imagined, changing their significance or purpose; giving 'junk' a greater value by decadently upcycling it with an twist of kitsch sparkle in to a precious must have.

I try to think outside the box when I design my products and love my work to be about excess...who actually said that less is more?
