My name is Emily and I'm currently a student studying photography at Nottingham Trent University. Before beginning my degree, I studied at the Birmingham Institute of Art & Design which is where i first developed an interest in taking photos.

Although i love the subject, it's not something i think i'll be carrying on after i graduate. My aim is to do an MA in Art History and get into some sort of museum or antiques career. Despite this, i still love making images.

Using photography to enhance, change and develop on previous ways of working is how i like to roll. I work with a lot of mixed media and have my work cross over into other subjects such as botany, graphic design and fine art.
