Description

In support of the United Nations Millennium Goal of 'Education for All' by 2015, United World Schools (UWS) seeks to improve educational opportunity and quality of life for young people living in the world's poorest regions.

We aim to:

1. Bring children and young people of different cultures closer together.

2. Establish a network of 'outreach' schools built in the poorest areas of developing countries.

3. Promote cultural exchange

4. Assist schools in the UK to develop partnership and support for UWS 'outreach' schools.

5. Improve the skills of local teachers and school management teams in developing countries.
