uniquecorals was founded with the belief that it’s possible to provide the reef hobbyist with access to a wide variety of corals and fishes, while minimizing the industry’s impact on the precious wild reefs.

We wanted to do things differently from the rest of the industry, so we decided from the start that our business would be dedicated to minimizing negative effects on the environment. By providing hobbyists with animals that have been harvested in an accountable, sustainable manner, from collectors who carefully track the impact of their activities on the reefs, we hope to do our part to preserve these precious resources for future generations to enjoy.

Unique offers fishes that have been captive-bred whenever possible, from both domestic and global sources, and a wide variety of corals that have been propagated by both aquaculture facilities and hobbyists, many far removed from the sea.

In addition to providing great livestock that you can feel good about purchasing, we want to inspire you with information, stories, and ideas. We’re obsessed with this hobby, and love to share our fascination with the hobby community.
