This account is intended to save records of items that go for sale on eBay, which takes down the images after a few months, to display transit memorabilia (almost entirely not my own, although I do have a large collection), screenshots of MTA Board Meeting materials, newspaper articles, items I come across in archives, and photographs I have taken. I am a railfan, if you cannot already tell. I go by Kew Gardens 613 on Wikipedia (and Union Tpke on New York City Transit Forums and Subchat. I hope to preserve knowledge so that it is not lost, to provide citations for articles on wikipedia, and to better inform others about transportation in New York City and elsewhere. I also add pictures I take of the transit system. I take tons of them, but have put very few up. This will change at some point. I appreciate comments on my images providing dates and other information. I haven't had the time to properly organize and name these images, so this is much appreciated. Thanks for looking at my Flickr, and I hope the images I post are interesting and insightful, if not just beautiful images of the transit system.
