Dorotea Marciano ( Tea ) born in Naples completed her studies with a Diploma from the National Institute of Art Fashion and Custom couse and from the Academy of Art Scenography course.
She approached the world of show business with various experiences in theatrical and touristic fields, cultivates the passion for images in photographs and graphics in the fashion industry. She also develops her experimental interest and search within the style of clothing. Her interest led her to knowledge and attention of different materials and their manipulation.
Over fifteen years she had intensively elaborated dyes on fabric, developing a technique for overlapping colours and pre-arranged sketches. This technique is a long manual procedure, so because of different concentrations of colours, replicas are impossible to create.
The bindings are programmed and the sketches develop the aid of coloured strings. The forms and tones creating fantastic and naturalistic environments.
Recently she started with a new technical experiment, overpainting dyed fabrics using watercolours and acrylics to combine and create more complex and exclusive images.

The Collaboration between Tea and Rudolf began on a very professional way as a challenge of individuality in art. It is not so easy nor usual for artists to interact with different techniques to achieve an unique artistic result. Both have a strong personal approach which could cause interference in their ambiguous artwork.
Working together created certainly a unique product, a result that anticipates globalisation and shared artistic visions like no other.
Both attenuated their personality, the creative impetus gave the other part space for proper techniques.
Tea prepared the cloths and made it possible for Rudolf to increase the artistic result and interconnection of two different personalities.
The final product is the fusion of two artistic interpretations, both converge in one direction, to offer the viewer a visual thrill, like a narrative story, where the signs and colours replace words, the intention to overcome the barrier of individualism.
