I'm a Zoologist and thus have a bit of an animal obsession. However, my main fascination is with the ungulates; the hoofed mammals. I am particularly interested in the artiodactyls (even-toed ungulates). Most of my pictures on here will be of antelopes, cattle, swine, deer, and all manner of wonderful hoofed mammals, with a few of my pencil sketches thrown in for good measure. I'm also a keen bird fan, I ring birds and am currently undertaking research on the conservation genetics of rare endemic bird species on islands in the Indian Ocean.

I am also a fan of landscapes, sunsets, interesting buildings and vistas etc....the usual amateur photography subjects really!
