Bryan's photography is honestly some of the best that I have ever seen. I don't even know the guy but his shots have influenced me more than almost anyone on flickr. I never get bored with his stuff and his talents come out more with every picture that I see of his. With his 365 project, there wasnt a single picture that I was unimpressed with, he's able to take really simple ideas and show them to us with creativity in some form. Bryan is one heck of an artist. As simple as that. He has an eye unlike any other photographer and he sticks to his own style. i stumbled upon his flickr page when i first joined my college newspaper as a photographer, and within one semester, i became his assistant at the photo desk. he has taught me so much in terms of photo editing and techniques. i feel like i've trained my eye to see photo editing through a different perspective, and how to make it look better in terms of tones and coloring. bryan is a really great friend, and he isn't one of those "cocky" photographers either, he makes the initiative to help out people and encourages people to see photos in a different way. not only is he a great photographer, but I feel fortunate that i was able to stumble upon a friend like this, he is such a cool person to hang out with! bryan's photos have such a nice photojournalist feel to it, as if each photo tells a story. i was also drawn to his 365 project and it was his stream that inspired me to start this project on my own. there is no doubt that bryan will become the next Richard Avedon or Annie Leibovitz.... watch out kiddos, pretty soon you'll see "BRYAN ENGELMANN" on front covers of magazines or photo books. This guy has so much ahead of him and i am truly excited to see the opportunities that lie in his journey.

To the brosky, Well, at the very epicenter of things, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't even be writing this testimonial right now because I would have never heard of flickr. Bryan was the one that introduced me to this website which has become my newest recreation. Flickr opened my eyes to new kinds of photographs from people from all over the world, and the opportunity for people to see my photos. He was the first person I ever met with a real camera when I just had a Sony point and shoot. His work is unbelievable and often times inspirational. He will surely have the opportunity one day to make money with that eye.
