Hi. My name is Joey. I am twenty-one two years old, I live in my parents' basement, and I play video games all the time. (I'm actually not joking about that)

Though my journey with photography has been rather brief, I've loved every minute of it. The medium pretty much blindsided me in mid-2009, when I failed to graduate and planned on spending another year as a Cinema student.

I took up photography as a hobby to compliment my lack of producing actual films, and ultimately fell in love with portraiture. I've always felt that regardless of how a photo looks, how well it's framed, or how beautiful the model is, it really comes down to what kind of emotion it evokes. I love to make people laugh--putting a smile on someone's face if probably one of the best gifts you can give to someone--and I try to infuse that kind of mentality into each one of my pictures. Goofiness, insanity, or just an overall sense of peacefulness will do.
