"La curiosità è l'anima della fantasia ... nelle fotografie è insito l'attimo fuggente", (di Ugo Maria Cionfrini).
Aggiunge il suo secondo nome Maria nel suo nome d'arte - (nato 10 Maggio 1958) diplomato al liceo Artistico Ripetta in Roma - svolge quest’attività da circa 44 anni iniziando già all’età di 11 anni con la sua Kodak americana, scattando foto in modo obliquo per creare una suggestiva prospettiva ed allo stesso tempo per racchiudere in essa un immagine più estesa. Alle medie nella scuola sperimentale De Coubertin in Roma si cimenta nella stampa in bianco e nero; inizialmente come hobby e negli ultimi dieci anni in modo più professionale.
Da Ottobre 2005 a Maggio 2006 ha frequentato; il Corso di fotografia professionale: dalle basi al digitale della Nikon Italia c/o l'agenzia fotografica Vision in Roma, in contemporanea ha seguito il Corso di Macro di Riccardo Polini.
nel Giugno 2007 ha partecipato ad un Corso fotografico in Camargue, sempre organizzato dalla Nikon con Guido Bissattini.
Nel 2008 ha creato un calendario con animali ed altro per i suoi 50 anni

Oggi, 21 dic 2014 ho deciso di svelare il "segreto" della mia ultima scoperta, insito nella natura. "Tutto scorre" ... (tutte le prove) si tratta di una parte di, cavallo, animale superba, elegante, un po 'folle come me e fantastico in tutto il suo splendore.

(born May 10, 1958) is an Italian art photographer who is well known for his artistic photography of water suspended in time.Graduated in Liceo Artistico in Rome, he has been doing this activity since he was 11 years old with its small Kodac istamatic taking oblique photos to create a striking perspective and at the same time to include it in a more extended picture. While attending experimental junior high school De Coubertin in Rome, he experienced black and white printing; he has been doing this activity for about 34 years, initially as a hobby and for the past nine years in a more professional way.
Education & Professional Development:
2005/2006: From October to May he attended “The professional photography course: from the basics to digital” of Nikon Italy by Vision Photo Agency in Rome, 2006 – at the same time, in May he attended a course taught by Riccardo POLINI.
2007: In June he attended a Photography course in Camargue (France), also organized by Nikon with Guido BISSATTINI.
2008: He made a Photo Calendar to celebrate his 50 years birthday.

Art Style:
Ugo is best known for his pioneering work in capturing figures in the zampilli [2] of water. He is considered the first artist to discover that, in water, a person can see figures of various shapes and forms such as animals (ie. cobras, elephants, etc.) and people.
