After working for about 20 years as a software professional, Umakant is currently doing independent research on TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving). He has done a Master Degree in Philosophy, a Master Degree in Business Administration and a Bachellor Degree in Law. He is fond of travelling and photography.
