I have had the privilege of enjoying Ulrike's photography since November 2008 - very soon after she joined flickr. Ulrike is an artist in every sense. She has an eye for beauty, balance, colour, texture and composition whilst her technical ability is way beyond the norm. I first noticed her exceptional NZ scenic shots and very beautiful reflections series and have since gone with her on a journey of abstracts, macros and light/shadow studies. Ulrike encourages and inspires a dedicated following. Kahil Gibran wrote, "Beauty is a light in the heart". Ulrike has that light and the ability to encapsulate it in her photography.
Read lessI have only recently discovered Ulrika's photostream and the quality of her work is amazing. In fact, I find it difficult to pick out Favourite shots as, to do so, would somehow be to diminish others equally deserving. Her abstract photographs, in particular, are exquisite.
