I like to take photos that I think are groovy. I have no professional background, just a camera. My first camera was a classic Kodak 110 film camera that used flash bulbs. Fast forward a couple decades to the next camera that I could call my own. My brother and I had joined the armed services and we shared a 35mm Rebel 2000 that we took around the globe collecting hundreds of pictures and negatives that I keep in a box in my garage now. The first camera that I actually purchased was a Canon Kiss x2. Because it is digital, I have fully exploited the ability to take as many pictures in as many different ways to my hearts desire. I must admit, I have learned a lot on the how and when a picture may or may not be ideal to take and I have enjoyed shuffling through Youtube videos to discover known tried techniques. Now that I have an iPhone, I have increased mobility to take all the pictures I wish. I expect to get stronger at taking pictures and showing what my eye sees in the world but more importantly, to make friends who share in the adventure of photography.
