2010 - guess that means we're into the future of sci,-fi, and its time for a profile overhaul!

I'm an amature photographer based out of Kelowna, BC, Canada. I tour constantly across the Canadian backroads, documenting who, and what I see of Canadian life - wildlife, the Rockies, Prairies, and the people who make Canada so special. Its currently just a hobby, but I'm slowly working up my gear, and trying to turn the hobby into at least a hobby business. As far as my photos go, I try to keep my family stuff for family, friends as friends, and let everyone else see the world the way I do ... dont blame me if its not the way YOU see it, or if you dont get out and see enough of it !

current photography equipment is an Olympus Evolt E410 DSLR for stills, and set-up shots, vintage GAF 35mm for retro effect, a Kodak 813IS for both point-n-shoot, and video (HD) footage, plus I've got a gutted and reworked Kodak C643 for 'driving' video footage. more hardware to come, as I find the need. ( I can already see a flash, 300mm zoom, and filters coming for the Evolt!)

touring hardware: my not-so-humble everyday H3, to make the long backroads easy, BMW K100 motorcycle for highway trips when the sun is out, and the nasty, but fun Buell XB9Sx for anything and everything else. As of feb 2010, starting to do GPS tracked logged journals, and slowly mapping my older public images. motion-x for the phone, an older Magellan mobile unit, and Delorme for longer trips with the laptop along.

oh, and need I mention I'm a total gadget hog, and technophile...or is that obvious by now?
