Andy Beattie
Drag to set position!
I've been interested in photography since '94 and I attended Calderdale College from '96 to '98 to gain my City and Guilds.
Over the years I have progressed through 35mm - SLR - digital - DSLR, though I still love 35mm black & white for the mood, grain and effects that can be produced.
My passion is wildlife and nature, where I can use my field and woodcraft knowledge to get the shots I want, I'm an outdoor person at heart
I'm inspired by the landscape photography of Ansel Adams and David Noton, the wildlife photography of Simon King, Laurie Campbell, Andy Rouse and Chris Packham, the darkroom techniques of Larry Bartlett and the portrait photography of Bert Stephani
Since '96 I have photographed numerous civil, traditional and unconventional weddings all over Britain, and I enjoy it. I'm currently trying to develop my own style in portraits
I'm available for portraits, groups, weddings, social events, portfolios, glamour, location, freelance and commissioned photography.
I also digitally enhance images and photographs old and new.
I've sold 100s of my photographs, but have yet to hit the fame game from it, which I'd love to do.
