Statement of FAITH

We believe in one God, the God of the Holy Trinity: the Holy Father, the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that He is the Supreme Ruler of the universe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church; the Savior of all mankind and the only Mediator between God and men. We believe that the Holy Bible (both the Old and New Testament) is the Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit and is the highest standard of our faith and conduct. We believe in the Apostle's Creed and the truth concerning the kingdom of God as the common and fundamental faith of the church.

Fundamental Beliefs of UECP

We believe the Bible (all 39 Old and 27 New Testament books) is God’s revelation to man and is wholly inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is inerrant and is the standard of Christian faith and living. We believe in the Triune God, Creator and Sustainer of the universe; who exists externally in three Persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in Jesus Christ who is both perfect God and perfect Man – the only Mediator between God and man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, died for mankind, was buried, resurrected, ascended to heaven, and shall return at God’s appointed time. We believed man is saved by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Those who believe shall receive eternal life, will resurrect and reign with Jesus Christ. The unbelievers shall be condemned by God’s righteous judgment for their own sin. We believe the church is the family of the eternal God, which is made up of those redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. Christ is the Head of this family; every member ought to worship and serve Him.
