Hi everybody,

U can call me ubikaya. I like this name because it's unique (I think so) and it's reflect my place, my race, my culture and also it means a lot to my country history. This name came from Malay words "ubi kayu" it means cassava, tapioca. During WW2 this plant become a lifeline to most of Malaysian. Almost everyone eating ubi kayu since rice are very hard to get. Ubi kayu become a replacement and savior for Malaysian food needs on that time. This plant are very easy to plant, and it can grow in almost every place in my country. Even though I'm not born on that time... but this is the story that I get, hear and read.

I'm not using complete words ubi kayu because I like the words "kaya" so I change a bit. This words also mens a lot to me because kaya means rich. Everybody want to be rich and I like to be rich. Rich doesn't mean by having lots of money it is bigger than that. Rich in experience, knowledge, friends, happiness, etc....

Kaya also one of Malaysian all time favorite jam. It is made from egg and coconut milk. Most of Malaysian love kaya very much especially during breakfast and tea time. Spread on bread and then u can have it either steam or toast.

That's a little story why I choose this name.... :-)

I involve in photography not to impress people but to impress myself, to satisfy myself. I also want to share my photography with all the people in the world. I want all the people in the word see what I see and feel what I feel and I belie 1 picture tells more story than 1000 words.

So far I don't have any style of photography but I don't feel comfortable to aim my lens to people that I didn't know, so candid photography is not my favorite. Candid photography is out of my list (I guess so). But I love to see others photographer candid shot. I'm still in learning process, I mean at a very first stage of learning process. So I will make a photography from anything that I think interesting to my eyes and lens.I am really appreciate comment, tips from all of U.

Nice to meet U all.

Thanks.
