Writing is not always the best way to comprehend and communicate the subtleties of visual imagery. Indeed, there would be no need for visual art foms, if literature had the same qualities of communication and expression, that can move towards the abstraction and sublimity of music. Therefore, atleast critically, this testimonial can only refer to aspects of Uber's work, while others are of such complexity that they are best left to the art work its self to communicate. The nuances of colour and detritus of Modernism that reside in the "conflict" betwixt recognisable form (actual) and abstraction (the subtlety of intuition, reason... conception) reflect a heightened and unusually fine understanding of the human condition. Together with this, Uber utilises a craftmanship that absorbs the viewer, entertains the senses and resolves, intuitively the cultural conflict that is his artistic raison d'etre. A fine mind indeed! However, this playful examination is not dry; Uber is not prone to the conceptual pretension of some artists, who sacrifice craftsmanship for a bare concept and, in doing so only manage to entertain themselves.
