Born in Taiwan in the 1970s, Tzi Chin Huang is always fascinated by the old things and the new possibilities lying in and beyond them. An enthusiastic art lover, passionate about artistic creation and second-hand book stalls, Tzi Chin Huang creates new works out of old images, searches among second-hand goods, assembles and disassembles them before crystallizing our shared memories into transparent, solid polyethylene art pieces.

His oeuvre covers all sorts of forms and materials, ranging from cover design, acrylic artifact to exhibition items, from the old-school to the avant-garde. The hope is to bridge the East and the West, and the real world with the virtual ones.
