I have always loved capturing images, starting with my 110 and taking "modeling" shots of my sisters and myself (*laugh* they were awful but very comical to look at today). I received my first digital camera in 2003 from my step-mom. I grew to love digital IMMEDIATELY b/c that meant I could take as many pictures as I wanted and not have to worry about printing. I could also see immediately the result! I got my second digital camera in 2005 - a Canon S3is as a gift from my amazing Nana (I was speechless which is not a normal thing for me!) and then she surprised me with yet another one in the summer of 2007 - a Canon Rebel XTi - I cried. Unfortunately, a few months later our house was broken into and my camera and all its accessories stolen. I was devastated but when I told Nana, she said, "Well maybe you can get the XSi!!" I love her. Fortunately, my amazing fiance knows how important photography is to me and we upgraded to the 40D!! I am LOVING it! I'm a bit obsessive, but I love capturing images of God's beautiful creations. I like to find beauty in everything and capturing special moments to last a lifetime.

During the day I am a Kindergarten and school-age teacher.
