I am currently teaching through the Northwest Florida State College classes in Painting and Drawing. My art work as started in include Pyrographic Art (wood burning), combined with my love of drawing with Conte Crayons and charcoal, combined with my painting where I am still developing a unique impressionistic painting style. This style combines pointillism, and lines that are layered or painted sort of like the impressionistic painters but with the glazes of older renaissance artists. I paint in a throwback style since I feel they are the last art movement that the average person really appreciated or enjoyed.

I also study the play of light and darks and occasionally bring in some art nouveau style work, particularly with the swirls and harder edges of some of my work. I enjoy working with all sorts of shadows, darks and lights in my landscapes, drawing, painting or wood burning. My artwork is available to purchase at Hotel DeFuniak Gallery on online if you wish to contact me.

I am a member of the Walton County Art League and the Cultural Art Association of Walton County.
