Thank You So Much For All That You Offer Here ! Born + raised on the south side (St. Adrians Parish) I remember Midway during its slow days as well. One in particular has bothered me for some time, yet I haven't read nor found a thing in any newspaper. Just about 50 years ago, there was a very bad plane crash I want to recall it was around 55th Street, perhaps around Kostner ? I want to recall this happened about 1972/73, and that it was a large airplane, not a 2 or 4 seater. I was around 17 /18 years old old then and things have a way of changing ones memories. If You have any knowledge of this in the early ;70s that you could share I would appreciate it. Several friends insist it never happened.
