Francesca is an amazing photographer and lover. We met on a stormy night years ago, in a small Italian village and ..... uh, whoops, wrong person .... Vicky rocks!!!!!!!! She is an amazing photographer, no doubt. But what I love about Vicky is that she always has time for her friends and contacts, putting love and thought into her remarks. And this from a person that never is short of comments being made on her own photos. Yet she takes the time to reciprocate. A true quality of a wonderful Flickr friend. TV Writer, whoever she is (does she write for television? does she write on television? did she write the television into existence?) has a photostream that is filled with equal parts humor, beauty, elegance, and golden retrievers. It is this last part that is perhaps most compelling to me, because dogs are awesome. That is all.

To start, as a matter of disclosure, I should tell you all that TV Writer is my little sister, Vicky. I was always the photographer in the family and yet, from time to time, she would take these masterpieces with her little point and shoot cameras. I always told her she had a great "eye" for photography. I started with digital photography shortly after our Mother passed away last year. It was remarkably sudden and the entire family was feeling the loss of our matriarch. When I found Flickr, I was able to share my photos with the rest of the family but Vicky...never missed a day checking in and giving me positive feedback and support! After a while, with some prodding, Vicky started a Flickr account and I upgraded her right away to a Pro account! Check out her stream and you will see the wonderful way she captures a scene, whether it's her gorgeous dogs (my nephews) or her nature shots, she has a wonderful talent for "getting it right"! She will be in "Explore" from now on! Our Mom would have loved our photography and this site. She had a passion for the arts and she was our greatest fan in the world. She's still with us today in everything we do.
