I've been interested in photography for a long time but have been a bit more serious about it since I got my first DSLR about a year ago. I am just amazed and encouraged by the quality of photos being published here on flickr. I plan to publish more pics here and hope that its received well.

Also, some of the advice I've received from fellow members have been invaluable. I'm always looking to learn from the experts.

The screen name is was a late-in-the-night inspiration. Basically the shooting modes on my Canon. I also realized that "Tvam eva" in Sanskrit means "You and Only You" as recited in prayers in most schools back home.
